European infrastructure
Hosted in the EU, run from the Netherlands
Firmfact is built on EU-hosted primary infrastructure (German servers, French AI, Dutch team) with EU-first sub-processor choices.
For regulated firms, where data lives and where AI runs are procurement questions, not footnotes. This page summarises the infrastructure choices buyers usually need to explain during vendor review.
GDPR-aligned by design
Built for GDPR-aligned workflows with EU-hosted primary infrastructure. Download our Data Processing Agreement as a public PDF, or a personalised copy from your account.
Hosted in Germany
Primary production infrastructure is hosted in EU data centres in Germany.
EU-first data residency
Designed to keep customer-controlled data processing in the EU, using EU-based infrastructure and sub-processors where possible.
AI stays in Europe
AI-assisted features use the EU regional endpoint of Mistral AI (Paris, France), served from EU and EFTA data centres. With zero data retention enabled on our account, the provider does not keep your documents or questions once they are processed. The provider-side training setting is disabled, so your documents and questions are not used to train models.
EU-first sub-processors
Our primary sub-processors are EU companies: Hetzner (Germany), Cloudflare (Ireland), Lettermint (Netherlands) and Mistral AI (France). Error monitoring runs on Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., USA), pinned to its EU data-residency region in Frankfurt and safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
European team and support
Built by Dutchcode B.V. in the Netherlands. Support during European business hours, with 24x7 P1 incident response on Enterprise Plus. All contracts governed by Dutch and EU law.
